Formally Known As

Posted on: 16 April, 07

Some blogging sites ask you to enter a random set of letters when leaving comments. This attempts to insure that a real human being is leaving the comment instead of a computer program that is generating spam. Recently, when leaving a comment on a friend’s blog, the random set of letters spelled out “hubski,” which I read to rhyme with “brewski.” It immediately reminded me of my husband and it is faster to type than “the Big Guy.” πŸ™‚ Besides, he was certain that “big” meant “fat” instead of “tall.”

Hubski spent a couple weeks in China and Japan for work. Of course, he came back with fabric. I’ll try to get photos up soon. Notice I said nothing about sewing it soon.

Oh gosh, those first three silks are divine! Aren’t they telling you to sew them up right now, please .
Linda (who has some well-aged silk in stash, I can feel a challenge coming on!)

Those verification thingys are called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart, trademarked by Carnegie Mellon) – Just in case you wanted that bit of trivia. Hee hee. I like Hubski tho too. Just wish I had one. Well, maybe not…..
