Sew Rational

Posted on: 7 November, 07

In between subbing and shuttling my boys from hither and yon, I cut out the fabric for my next project.  I thought there would only be time to lay out the pattern.  It was a pleasant surprise to also have time to cut it out.  It seems that “setting the bar low” is working for me.  Sometimes I don’t start tasks because there isn’t enough time to accomplish the whole thing.  I need to break it down into smaller, less overwhelming steps.  Instead of feeling bad that I did not finish my project tonight, I can feel good that I achieved my goal of laying out the pattern and the added bonus of getting it cut out too!

It’s all in the rationalization.
