Can You Hear Me Now?

Middle schoolers just want to be heard.  They laugh loudly.  They talk loudly…unless, of course, you are a teacher asking a question in class.  Suddenly, everyone is mute.

My step-daughter…in her 4th year of teaching 3rd grade, says the same thing! She gets her Masters soon, and is off to becoming a district “Reading Specialist”!

ha ha ha!
Speaking in a very, very low voice, or just staring at them with a smile waiting for them to be quiet, also works pretty well here.
