Tiny Stitches

Posted on: 24 March, 09

The title refers not only to the size the garment, but also to the amount of sewing I have done lately. This will be a tunic top for an American Girl doll. If this were adult sized, I would be done by now. Sewing that tiny faced yoke is not easy! C came home from taekwondo feeling rather icky. The plan is to let him sleep in tomorrow morning and hopefully nip this in the bud. If he doesn’t go to school tomorrow, I just might finish the tunic. Always gotta look for that silver lining.

Those itty bitt.y clothes are not easy to sew. Fiddley. Fun, though. I have an 18″ doll (not an American Doll), who lives in a closet. I have tons of patterns. Maybe one day I’ll feel inspired to sew for her again.

That tunic top is so cute!
