Finish Line

Posted on: 8 June, 09

I finished the book, The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb.  Fabulous.  For once, waking up at 3:30 a.m. was not an entirely bad thing.  Fair warning, when you get towards the end, have the tissues handy.

C’s shirt is finished.  I sewed on the buttons by hand because I wanted to watch something from the DVR list with the boys.  Normally, hand sewing is avoided at all costs.  Multitasking won out.

J finished school today at lunch time.

Oh so very close to finishing middle school.  Tomorrow is the informal award ceremony for the 8th grade.  That is always fun because some of the awards are very silly.  There is also rehearsal for the formal awards ceremony which is never fun.  How can practicing to walk in straight lines to stuffy music possibly be fun?

Oh the sewing I have planned for Thursday morning…

Good for you on all counts–finishing the book, the shirt and getting out of school for the summer! All good stuff!
